Amelia is directed by Mira Nair and the trailer defines the director’s work. The movie is expected to be released Oct. 23, and not only stars Hilary Swank as the female aviator, but Richard Gere as Earhart’s husband, George Putnam, and Ewan McGregor as her lover Gene Vidal. Astro Boy second trailer was released today, which shows more of the story and you get a good feel for the overall production. I like it. The story is set in futuristic Metro City. Astro Boy is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he has lost. Unable to fulfill the grieving man’s expectations, our hero embarks on a journey in search of acceptance, experiencing betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he returns to save Metro City and reconcile with the father who had rejected him.
