The holiday season will be host to quite a few big movie releases on DVD, including The Incredible Hulk and Hellboy II. But so far, we hadn’t heard about the Wanted DVD release… up until now, that is.

The release will be issued in a deluxe gift set in both DVD and Blu-ray formats, which includes a digital copy, bonus content, a book on assassins and collectible postcards. The set will come in collectible packaging pierced with a bullet, creating a shattering effect to the outer case.
Be prepared to hand over your hard-earned money starting December 2 for the DVD.
Entertainment Weekly has posted an exclusive clip of Angelina Jolie in this month’s Clint Eastwood drama Changeling on EW.com. Though she’s the proud owner of an Academy Award, Jolie hasn’t been nominated since winning Best Supporting Actress for Girl, Interrupted in 2000. But her forceful performance in Changeling could change that.
In this scene, Jolie is helped along by Tony winner Denis O’Hare (Michael Clayton), who plays a menacing doctor at a mental ward where she’s been wrongly placed.
DreamWorks Animation officially confirmed a sequel to its animated hit Kung Fu Panda is in the works with a release date of June 3, 2011.
The film reunites Jack Black as kung fu fan Po, Angelina Jolie and other members of the original voice cast. Kung Fu Panda sequel will be released in 3-D — the new standard for all DWA movies starting next year — on regular and Imax screens worldwide. Awesome!!!
Jennifer Yu Helson, who was head of story on Panda, is promoted to director for the sequel – go girl.
If you look into the crystal ball of movie marketing, the 2011 date means that Panda will be sharing the summer with Disney/Pixar’s Cars 2, which Disney moved from a 2012 release to summer 2011 last week.
The original Panda grossed more than $626 million worldwide and is DWA’s most successful nonsequel. It will be released on two-disc DVD and Blu-ray, containing a new companion story Secrets of the Furious Five, on Nov. 9.
Changeling poster, a visual that communicates, tells us that this lady went through some STUFF, like taking on the corrupted LAPD, to find her son. Angelina Jolie is a beauty and Clint Eastwood is one lucky director to have Jolie star in this movie.
Disproving reports that Wanted star Angelina Jolie is no longer attached, Moviehole carries confirmation that she has now officially signed on to Edwin A. Salt.
The film tells the fictional story of a CIA officer who is marked to be a Russian sleeper spy. She tries to elude capture from her superiors who are convinced that she is out to assassinate the president, while at the same time struggling to prove that someone else is the traitor.
Preproduction on the project has commenced; it is set to start shooting February 16, 2009.
Great trailer and an even better movie by Clint Eastwood starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich. A true story with incredible acting by Jolie, she is beautiful, but I could hardly recognize her as the mother — just fantastic. Movie opens October 24th.
Angelina Jolie is very close to take the title character in Edward A. Salt, a CIA officer who’s accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy and must avoid capture long enough to establish her innocence.
Tom Cruise for a long time played with the project, but that ended recently. The well-regarded script had several male movie stars interested.
Jolie took an interest, setting off the studio’s decision to rewrite it.
Ever since Tomb Raider, Jolie has been the only woman to hold the action genre compared to the exclusive male only domain. The film Wanted proved it out with $132 million domestically. Jolie is one tough chick.
The title, “Edwin A. Salt,” will definitely have to go. If everything falls into place, the film shapes up as a return from maternity leave for Jolie, who a short time ago gave birth to twins.
Having assassinated box office competition, Wanted may be in for a full trilogy, reports Cinema Blend. While it is still a rumor at this point, the site claims that two more sequels are already being planned with both James McAvoy and Terrence Stamp back in their roles.
Flashbacks will play an important role in the films, exploring Angelina Jolie’s Fox character. It will allow us to meet the man who trained and recruited her, with him becoming the possible villain of the sequels.
The site also notes that the sequels will have McAvoy’s Wesley travel globally, fighting Fraternity cells all over the world.
Turn on your plasma screen this weekend and watch Oliver Stone’s “Alexander the Great” on American Movie Classics, June 21 8PM/7C and June 22 8PM/7C. As Alexander the Great, Colin Farrell pouts and contemplates as he conquers the known world by the time he is twenty-five. Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie and Val Kilmer also star.
I think telling any story about a great man from ancient history is not easy. Oliver Stone did a grand job. The above trailer shows it all.

James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman join Angelina Jolie as they dodge and curve bullets - and fires off plenty of rounds - in the action-packed, extended trailer for Wanted, her sexy, new action thriller.
Personally, I am pretty excited about this movie with McAvoy in tow. Although, it does appear a little like the original "Matrix," but don't fret. It is different.
The story focuses on a young man (McAvoy) who discovers that his father is an assassin. After his father's death, the son is trained to follow in his father's footsteps. Wanted arrives in theaters on June 27.
