Having faced demons and their lot, Reaper’s Tyler Labine is moving on to psychopathic hillbillies in Tucker and Dale vs Evil; he will be joined by Alan Tudyk from Dollhouse.

The genre-bending film follows a pair of benign hillbillies who are mistakenly accused of being psychopathic killers by a group of college students. The film also stars Katrina Bowen.

It has been written by Morgan Jurgenson and Eli Craig who is also directing. Craig is known for his short film The Tao of Pong.

Seeing as how Reaper has been cancelled, Labine can next be seen in the Fox series Sons of Tucson. Meanwhile, Tudyk remains a regular on Dollhouse and has appeared in various feature films including Knocked Up and Serenity.

Variety reports that The O.C. star Adam Brody, along with Debi Mazar, Olivia Thirlby, Josh Gad, Alan Tudyk and Jake Busey will all be lending their voices to Fox’s upcoming animated television project Good Vibes.

The project has been penned by comedy veteran David Gordon Green (Superbad). It focuses on two high school surfers who live near the beach in California.

Gad will play Mondo, an out-of-shape, shaggy-haired teen looking to master surfing and win ovr Jeena (Thirlby), who thinks of Mondo more like a brother.
