Sylar is not dead yet.

The season finale of NBC’s Heroes was a bit unclear about what exactly happened to the star villian, Sylar. Although it appeared as though Sylar had either been killed or had his powers severely reduced to the point he was rendered ineffective, that is not likely the case.

In an exclusive report, Access Hollywood  revealed that actor Zachary Quinto, who plays Sylar, will have a reoccuring role on season 2 of Heroes in which he will continue to terrorize the city.

In the season finale, Sylar was stabbed through the chest, which led us to believe that he had been killed. But a quick pan back to the death scene reveals that Sylar’s body is gone and all that remains is a trail of blood, suggesting that he is not quite dead yet. What is more likely is that he was wounded and retreated to recuperate.
