Stranded in US

presentation Word comes from the Hollywood Reporter that Zeitgeist Films has landed the US theatrical and home video rights to cannibalism documentary Stranded: I’ve Come from a Plane That Crashed in the Mountains. It is a Spanish-language film that focuses on Uruguayan rugby players who survived an October 1972 plane crash by eating their deceased teammates.

Directed by Gonzalo Arijon, the film goes back to the site of the crash for further investigation. It is planned for release in New York on October 22, which will be followed by a national rollout.
