The trades are reporting that Ben Still has taken over the lead role in Noah Baumbach’s comedy-drama Greenburg. Mark Ruffalo and Amy Adams were previously set to star in the lead roles, but both have departed the project. Stiller replaces Ruffalo; talks are being held with a number of actresses.
The film will explore the intimacies of relationships; the specific storyline is being kept under wraps.
A starting date for the project is yet to be set. Scott Rudin is onboard as producer.
