Stern Producing Rock n’ Roll Remake

July 31st, 2008 in Actors, Comedy, Writers, remakes

stern From Variety comes word that Howard Stern is producing a remake of the 1979 comedy Rock n’ Roll High School. The original followed a group of rebellious students who, with the help of rock band The Ramones, thwarted a repressive, rock-music hating principal.

Not much else is known about the project, other than the fact that Bill & Ted actor Alex Winter has been hired to script the new version.

Stern is attached to another remake, this time the raunchy 1982 comedy Porky’s.
