Stan Winston is Dead
Winston may have passed on, but his work lives on in past films, as well as upcoming films like Avatar and Terminator 4. May he rest in peace. Leave a Reply |

I feel bad bringing sad news to movie fans, but Academy Award winning special effects and makeup artist Stan Winston died last night. He is best known for his work in the Terminator series where he designed the original Terminator Endoskeleton; Winston has also worked on Aliens, Jurassic Park and Predator, among other big-name franchises. He is also a frequent collaborator with James Cameraon, with whom he co-founded Digital Domain in 1993.
