Steven Spielberg almost held the Cecil B. DeMille award at the 2008 Golden Globes ceremony. Due to the fact the award ceremony dwindled down to a press conference this Sunday. Spielberg needs to hold on to his acceptance speech one more year.
The Globes decided to bestow the award to Spielberg, which I feel is much deserved, at the 2009 Golden Globes Awards ceremony with all the familiar spectacular formalities Spielberg so deserves.
