That’s right. Spider-Man 3 -in all its blockbustery glory – will probably be screening as part of the Tribeca Film Festival. Seems a shame to me that such a classy festival has to ruin things by going overboard with a big PR stunt for a film that’s going to make a fortune anyway.
Last year they had Tom Cruise taking all kinds of ridiculous transports to get to the Tribeca screening of Mission: Impossible III, this year they’re possibly having back to back to back screenings of all three Spider-Man films. Maybe they could also have Tobey Maguire swing into the screening using actual spider webs?
