It appears that last week’s rumors that film rights to Sin City were up for grabs is true, as The Hollywood Report quotes several producers who have said that they have been shopped the rights by reps for Miller’s estate who are seeking a new place to set up the sequel.
Rodriguez’s involvement in the sequel is unclear at the moment. The Weinstein Company is still denying the news, noting that rights remain where they have been all this time.
