IESB reports that Garry Shandling (The Larry Sanders Show) has joined the cast of the upcoming Iron Man sequel.

Shooting has begun on the project, with a large scene with Shandling already shot. The site notes that the film picks up right from the final press conference scene in the original. Shandling plays a key part in the scene.

Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle are all aboard the sequel which Jon Favreau is directing.
