Sex & The City Feels Recession, Goes to London

Sex_And_The_City_464040a The girls of Sex and The City are feeling the mighty pinch of recession it appears, as MSNBC reports that the upcoming film sequel will incorporate the global financial crisis into its storyline.

The proposed storyline for Samantha will see her downsize her big-spending life after some of her investments get wiped out. She will be seen surviving on a more modest budget but still staying true to her taste.

The site also suggests that there will be scenes shot in London, with the character of Big living alone in a one-bedroom apartment and ending up in bed with another woman. Meanwhile, Carrie discovers she is pregnant.

No word on when the movie is going forward, though.
