Lost in the hype of New York City’s Tribeca Film Festival, San Francisco’s Film Festival is celebrating a milestone this year. It is the 50th anniversary of the festival that starts today and runs until May 10th. The 15-day event presents nearly 200 films from over 50 countries Among those who attending this year will be Spike Lee, George Lucas, Peter Morgan and Robin Williams. If you are in the Bay area and are a movie fan you should check out some of the fine films that are showing.
