How, you ask? By re-releasing Evil Dead to a selection of theaters once again.
Now, don’t get me wrong here, I love Evil Dead as much as the next cult horror junkie, but come on, Sam Raimi…doesn’t everyone already OWN this movie by now? In like three or four separate versions? On two or three different formats? What possible payoff is there in going and seeing it in some theater where the popcorn’s like eating death and there’s a fair chance you’ll get mugged by the one poor schmuck in the audience who DOESN’T already have the home version.
But for those of you who want a chance to dress up and shout lines with other fans, well, if you live anywhere near any of these places you can see for yourself.
