In today’s silly movies news, Brett Ratner, the guy behind Rush Hour and Red Dragon, has revealed that he wants to make a movie based on the plastic guitar swinging video game Guitar Hero.
Ratner, speaking to MTV News, said, “I would love to do a Guitar Hero movie, if Activision would ever let me. I’m trying to convince them.”
And what exactly would the plot be? Some kid wanting to become a rock star and does so South Park-style by swinging a plastic axe? "It could be about a kid from a small town who dreams of being a rock star and he wins the Guitar Hero competition."
Holy shit, I was right!
Rattner is currently attached to direct the videogame film adaptation of God of War.
