From Variety comes word that Adam Cozad will adapt Christopher Reich’s espionage novel Rules of Deception for Paramount Pictures. It focuses on a physician who loses his wife when they’re hiking in the Swiss Alps.
He then receives a letter addressed to his wife, learning that she wasn’t who he thought her to be and gets him into a mess that could result in nuclear war in the Middle East.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura is attached to produce. Reich is already working on a second installment to the novel.
