Rotten Tomatoes’ “10 Great Irish Movies”

fourleafclover.jpgWith St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner on Monday, now’s the time to start getting in the spirit.  What better a way for the film buff than to watch some great Irish films.  Rotten Tomatoes has gone ahead and composed a list of “10 Great Irish Movies.”

The list includes:

  • My Left Foot (1989), which received a 100% rating on the Tomatometer.
  • Odd Man Out (1947), also received a 100% rating.
  • Darby O’Gill and the Little People (1959), with a 100% rating.
  • Once (2007), with a 97% rating.
  • The Snapper (1993), with a 97% rating.
  • In the Name of the Father (1993), with a 95% rating.
  • Bloody Sunday (2002), with a 92% rating.
  • The Quiet Man (1952), with a 91% rating.
  • The Commitments (1991, with a 91% rating.
  • The Magdalene Sisters (2003), with a 90% rating.
