After the commercial disaster of his latest album Rudebox (available in all good bargain bins) Robbie Williams, easily Port Vale FC’s most famous fan, is possibly planning a move into celluloid.
Rumour has it that Williams is the frontrunner to star in the big screen adaptation of Through A Glass Brightly, biography of reformed alcoholic Nick Charles.
No doubt the Robster has the charisma for the big screen, but does he have the acting chops to take on a role that we assume will require a fair bit of serious acting? With such a big personality he’s either the next Mos Def or the next Madonna.
