rottenschoolkid.jpgA favorite series amongst kids, Rotten School, may be soon making its way to the big screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Erica Rothschild will adapt the screenplay for a film based on the series. 20th Century Fox is lined up to handle eventual distribution of the film.

The Rotten School series tells the story of student Bernie Bridges and his schemes against his rival enemies and teachers at boarding school.

Another popular R.L. Stine series - Goosebumps - which has for years been a staple for school kids as both a book and a television series, might also be making its way into theaters. The studio is also currently in talks to bring Goosebumps to the silver screen.
