‘Revolutionary Road’ has started filming in New York City. The movie brings back the couple that made teenage girls hearts swoon in 1997 as Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet work together for the first time since their ultra-blockbuster ‘Titanic’.
‘Revolutionary Road’ will be a bittersweet film. The couple will show the more gritty side of relationships as the couple deals with growing apart while being married. Set in the 1950’s, they have to endure a troubled marriage for the sake of ‘fitting in’.
The film is based on the book by Richard Yates. The film is directed by Winslet’s husband Sam Mendes who is best known for his work on the film ‘American Beauty”. ‘Revolutionary Road’ is set to be released sometime in 2008.
