Johnny Depp is set to work again with Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski on Rango, an animated movie, which is scheduled for a March 2011 release.
Depp plans to voice the lead character, a household pet that goes on an adventure to discover its true self.
John Logan wrote script based on an idea sparked by Verbinski, who plans on working with Industrial Light & Magic on the animation.
Rango hopes to use cutting-edge animation techniques allowing the capture of every aspect of Depp’s performance – I like that!
