“P.S. I Love You” Motion Picture Soundtrack
The album features tracks for a wide range of artists, including James Blunt, the Pogues, Paolo Nutini, Nellie McKay, Chuck Prophet, Toby Lightman, Fueled by Ramen, The Academy Is, and NEEDTOBREATHE. “Same Mistake”, the second single from James Blunt’s album, All The Lost Souls, will be featured in the movies upcoming advertising campaign. Blunt will also be performing the song a number high-profile television programs. In celebration of the album and movie release, Screenhead is giving away a copy of the “P.S. I Love You Soundtrack.” In order to be eligible to win, you must live in the US, Canada, or UK. To enter, simply leave a comment on this post, and make sure you use an email address when you register (only we will be able to see it) so that we may contact you if you are chosen as the winner.  89 Responses to ““P.S. Atlantic Records has announced the impending release of “P.S. I Love You Music From The Motion Picture” on December 4, 2007. The film itself will open in U.S. theaters nationwide on December 21.

The book was absolutely lovely and I’m sure the film will be even better. What a fantastic line up of artists as well for the soundtrack - looking forward to watching the film and hearing the soundtrack. Same Mistake by James Blunt is beautiful.

Long awaited movie and soundtrack will be enjoyed for a long time. Can’t wait til Dec 4 and Dec 21. If anyone owns stock in tissues companies, they might make money when this movie comes out. There shouldn’t be a dry eye in the house. I plan on taking a small box with me when I view this movie, over and over again.

Any movie with Gerard in it will be fantastic. The artists on the soundtrack will be fabulous, I’m sure. Can’t wait to hear it.

One of the first books I have read . Yes I am 43 ,late starter !,and it blew me away with its way of making me laugh , cry and sigh at the lives of all the characters .

This is a wonderful, touching, funny yet poignant story. Gerry and Hilary will make for some wonderful chemistry in this film. The trailer’s wonderful, can’t wait for the film!

I’m very excited to hear the soundtrack for PS I LOVE YOU…James Blunt’s vocials will go very nicely with a very heart warnimg and funny movie. Gerard Butler is my favorite actor, he is able to get into the soul of the characters he portrays. His performences are always amazing. I can relate to PS I LOVE YOU, for I know how it feels to lose your soul mate. But you can find happiness again, for you always have thet persons love forever in your heart.

Oh, my!!!!! I would love to win the “P.S.I Love You” soundtrack…for not only do I love the artiests chosen to sing/play on it, but I LOVE Gerard Butler beyond hope!!! He will be as wonderful as he always is in movies..My only sadness is that the soundtrack does not have his singing on it. I have heard that in the movie he sings three songs,including “Mustang Sally” and “Galway Girl.” Oh, well…I would still LOVE to get the cd!

I have a place all ready for this special soundtrack=I have my Gerard Butler collection of dvds and POTO cds on a special shelf labeled All Things G.B., so I know right where to find them everytime I need a G.B. fix. Can’t wait to hear the P.S. I Love You soundtrack and I wish Dec. 21 would hurry up and get here. : )

I have seen the trailer for PS I Love You and I am really looking forward to seeing this movie, JUST only 29 more days to go!! I also read the book and really enjoyed it. I have seen quite a few of Gerry’s movies and especially enjoyed him in POTO, like some one else said here I wish Gerry’s singing was on the soundtrack to!

I actually saw this film at at test screening just this past spring and it was pretty darn good. Lot’s of sniffles from others in the theater.

Saw the preview on the Oceans 13 movie while my wife was at work and now I can’t wait to surprise her when I take her to see it when it comes out.
PS I am a guy and another movie you all should check out is Playing By Heart, very good movie imo and yes I introduced my wife to that one as well.

Sounds like a good soundtrack. Of the samples I’ve heard, I really like the songs by James Blunt, Ryan Star and Paolo Nutini.
CANNOT wait to see this film - me and my twin sister just sat and cried in front of the trailer not two momens ago - what we are going to be like when we are watching the actual film i dread to think! i have also heard that another one of her books is due to be made into a film - tre excited about that one too!
I am going to be such a sopping wet mess at this movie! I’m going to have to take a whole box of tissues into the theater!

Just saw the film and rushed out and got the soundtrack, hoping the song played at Gerry’s funeral would be on it, but it’s not. Does anyone know the title/artist of “Jerry’s favorite song” played during his wake in the bar (the priest even sings a line from it)? Thanks!!

I loved the movie. I went to go see it with a friend and she cried almost the entire time. Does anyone know the first two songs played in the bar after the wake (they’re in the background and It’s not the one the priest sings that’s “Jerry’s favorite song”), I know they’re both male voices.

I loved this movie and all the songs in it.. It was a great movie and kept me smileing and laughing during it. Not many movies out there are great but this one is a great movie.

This film is the sleeper of the year - poignant, content based which is unusual in films lately and wonderful performances by Kathy Bates, Gerard Butler, and the rest of the cast. Outstanding cinematography and kudos as a promo for tourism in Ireland - Erin go Bragh!

Just an all around great movie
This is a great movie that I would love to see over and over again! I cried most of the time and laughed most of the time aswell. This is a very heartwarming movie. Anyone who has ever been in love and lost will deffinitly understand the feelings and emotions involved!

I loved the movie, the music and Gerard Butler. One of my favorite movie scene was in the Karaoke bar. Hilary Swank was singing and falls off the stage. I loved the way Gerard was looking at her. This is one movie I will have in my collection.

Read the book, saw the movie, loved them both! when the characters are so real you can feel their pain and laugh or cry with them, then you know for sure it is truly a memorable movie.
