I’m all for a Tomb Raider reboot if it involves Megan Fox in skimpy outfits fighting bad guys in exotic places. Sadly, the first bit of that sentence is still a rumor, but the later bits will hopefully be true if producer Dan Lin’s words are to be believed.
He spoke in detail about the upcoming reboot, noting that it will be a “great origin story… a very character-oriented story.” Lin adds that it will be more realistic than its predecessors and that he wants “to have action, but with character.”
It seems that they are taking the Batman Begins route on this one. Hopefully, it will be better than Cradle of Life, for all its worth.
