Preview images of Dario Argento’s Mother of Tears

Shots from Dario Argento’s newest film have been posted on the web. The film, to be titled either The Third Mother or Mother of Tears looks like it will challenge even the most jaded horror film fan. I know grown men who could not get past the first ten minutes of Suspiria, generally acknowledged to be Argento’s best film. The filmmaker even admits to scaring himself. Based on the shots posted at Splatter Container, I have to suspect that there will be a world of difference between any theatrical release given this film, and the DVD version which will feature Dario Argento in all his gory, er, glory.

Im a huge horror fan, love gore all that. But G’sus what is Argento doing here… The fact that I cant read Italian doesnt help but just looking at the pics gave me the chills. Looks to be interesting and with any luck it gets some american press and everyone can get off Roth’s back for a second.
