Fox has solicited Nimrod Antal to direct “Predators” for producer Robert Rodriguez through his Troublemaker Studios. The project is scheduled for a July, 2010 release. It would represent the fifth movie made from the franchise, that dates back to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “Predator” which first came out in 1987, followed by “Predator 2″ in 1990, “Alien Vs. Predator” in 2004 and finally “Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem” in 2007.
Michael Finch and Alex Litvak are scripting “Predators.” Fox stated back in April that Rodriguez had joined the team to revive the “Predator” franchise.
