Mike Newell who directed “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” may join up with Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer to direct “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” a live-action feature based on the video-game. Newell met executives at Disney studio to discuss the project this week and deals are expected to begin shortly.
The video-game is popular with six installments and many spinoffs, predicting box office boom!
“Love in the Time of Cholera” is Newell most recent feature.
