Portman in Suspiria Remake?

From Bloody Disgusting comes word that Natalie Portman’s Handsome Charlie Films is rumored to be producing a remake of classic horror film Suspiria. The original was made by legendary film director Dario Argento in 1977.
The site reports that Portman will star in the film to which David Gordon Green (Superbad) has been attached to direct.
The original is widely acclaimed to be the finest horror movie efforts, following a young American dancer who travels to Europe to join a famous ballet school. However, upon settling in she hears strange noises and is troubled by hideous deaths. She eventually finds out that the school is the front of a more sinister organization.
