Leaving behind her high-profile job at SNL, Amy Poehler is moving onto a new role: Lunch Lady.
The film will be an adaptation of Jarrett Krosoczka’s children’s graphic novel series. It follows a mild-mannered school cafeteria server who secretly dishes out helpings of justice as she and her assistant investigate wrongdoings.
It is currently being adapted by Sarah Haskins and Emily Halpern. The first two books are due out this summer.
