News has reached us that the Black Snake Moan release date has been moved back from from February 23rd to March 3rd. So - unless you were one of the lucky people at Sundance -you’ll have to wait an extra week to see Sam Jackson acting his age and Christina Ricci chained to a radiator. Boo.
In the meantime you can play this Black Snake Moan game. It’s sort of similiar to the old Hitchhiker’s Giude To The Galaxy game in that you have to manipulate various objects in order to achieve goals, with the ultimate goal being to free yourself from the radiator Sam Jackson (presumably) has chained you to.
I didn’t manage to get free, but did manage to have a swig of moonshine, open a cabinet and watch some TV. Which is eerily similar to my real life (without the chain of course). If anyone succeeds in doing anything more advanced please come back and leave some helpful tips in the comments section.

The crate in the TV cabinet lets you get a saw on top of the bookshelf, which can cut the leg of the chair and let you reach the other side of the room, but after that I’m clueless.

I pity the folks who have to wait an extra week to see this. It was friggin’ awesome. I reviewed it on my site, and I try hard to keep my reviews major-spoiler-free..

This thing took me 5 minutes, here’s the spoilers for after what Richard Neal said for getting to the other side of the room:
-Goto the painting on the wall, there’s a safe hidden behind it.
-Use your key to open the safe.
-Take the guitar pick (I didn’t figure out what the necklace was for..?)
-Goto the other corner of the room where the guitar is.
-Use the cord from the shelf, then use the guitar pick.
-Play the guitar and turn the volume up to ten, then it’ll smash the window.
-Goto the window and grab the glove.
-Use the glove on the radiator so you can turn the knob.
-Use the moonshine on the chain to cool it down…
You’re free!!

You need to get the guitar, the amp and the pick (latter in safe behind picture), and rawk so hard the window smashes. A glove lies there where you turn up the heater, heat the chain, then pour moonshine on it and you’re free.
And who said rock never helped nobody?

I have all of the items, but I cannot start the guitar to playing! I’ve turned on the tv, radio, drank, cut the chair, pretty much everything but the damn glove! How do I get the guitar to play? I have gone to every corner and tried to play the darned thing.

u need to use the crate to help get the saw on top of the bookshelf
then use the saw to cut the leg of the chair
that helps u get to the other side of the room to get the guitar and the amp
use the key to open the safe behind the picture next to the window
idk wat the necklace is for but plug in the guitar to the amp usin the cord and rock so hard u smash the window
use the glove on the radiator and pour moonshine which will set u free!!!
