“Planet Terror” On DVD TodayOctober 15th, 2007 in Action, Directors, Dvd, Movie News |
Released on DVD today, October 16th is Robert Rodriguez’s “Planet Terror”, which if you remember, was featured earlier this year as part of the “Grindhouse” double-feature along with Quentin Tarantino’s “Death Proof”. Unfortunately, they’re not being released together, and we’re left buying the DVDs separately until they decide they need to make a few extra bucks and release a special edition boxed set.
Also announced in conjunction with the “Planet Terror” DVD release today is the engagement of director Robert Rodriguez to one of the movie’s stars - Rose McGowan. The couple found love on set, and are now committed to marry. The news was confirmed by the film’s press agency.
If you want to do your own in-home “Grindhouse” showing as it was intended, you can pick up the “Death Proof” DVD which was released last month, and then grab “Planet Terror” today.

Unless I missed them somehow, the Death Proof DVD has none of the phony trailers on it. I wonder if this DVD does…

Just picked up Planet Terror today and Rodriguez mentions the upcoming Grindhouse Double Feature DVD. This also has the Machete trailer.
