Pitt Donates 150 Homes to New Orleans
December 3rd, 2007 in Actors
In an attempt to further revive New Orleans back to what it was pre-Katrina, actor Brad Pitt has pledged to fund the building of 150 homes that will incorporate environmentally friendly appliances and other forms of “green” materials. Raised from ground level in order to combatant future floods, the houses are estimated to be built at around $150,000 each and the first ones are expected to be finished as early as May 2008.
As the spokesman for the Make It Right project, Pitt makes it known that his plans of expansion are limitless even raising the question of why not build 100,000 houses.
