Pandorum is an astronaut’s worse nightmare. Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard an outwardly abandoned spacecraft. The pitch black disorients them, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the spacecraft. They have no memory of anything – who are they, what is their mission?
The only way out of the chamber is a dark and narrow airshaft. Corporal Bower (Ben Foster), the younger of the two, crawls inside, while the other, Lt. Payton (Dennis Quaid), stays behind for guidance on a radio transmitter. As Bower ventures deeper and deeper into the ship, he discovers a terrifying reality. Slowly the spacecraft’s shocking and deadly secrets spin out the truth, and the astronauts come to grips with the fact that survival of mankind centers on their actions.

You can’t go wrong with Dennis Quaid movies, he is a great actor with good taste in the scripts he chooses.
