Director of Kung Fu Panda, John Stevenson is attached to helm We3, a film based on the Vertigo comic book miniseries.
Penned by Grant Morrison, who is adapting his own material, the series featured a dog, cat and a rabbit as test subjects who are infused into prototype combat suits equipped with various weapons. They can speak due to chips in their skulls. The animals break free and try to return to their former homes.
No starting date on the project is known at the moment.
