_44115971_paddington1_bodypa.jpgHere’s a quick entry. I know most of you are familiar with this character. As the saying goes, each of us will always have our inner child waiting for the moment to come out. Maybe this is it! Reports have been announced stating that Warner Bros. is teaming with producer David Heyman (the producer who also brought you Harry Potter) to bring Paddington Bear to the big screen.

The movie will be based on Michael Bond’s series of books for young children about a talking bear who’s adopted by a London family when they find him lost at Paddington Station. Bond published 11 “Paddington” books between 1958 and 1979. They were adapted into a popular BBC animated TV series in the 1970s.

Hamish McColl is writing the screenplay for what is likely to be a mix of live action with a CGI bear.
