Nicole Kidman is about to make a sexy re-entrance into the world of film erotica, signing on to star in The Reader along with Ralph Fiennes.  Kidman’s last foray into the erotic film genre was in Stanley Kubrick’s 1999 film Eyes Wide Shut (see photo), where Kidman starred opposite her then-husband Tom Cruise.

The Reader is based off of a novel, and recounts the story of a man who recounts the story of his erotic awakening during a secret love affair with an older woman during World War II.

Directing the film will be Stephen Daldry (The Hours), and writing the script will be David Hare.
