Variety reports that The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Trader will move its shoot to Mexico. Apparently, the production requires several large soundstages plus a massive water tank which are available in Baja Studios where aqueous films like Titanic, Deep Blue Sea and Master and Commander were shot.

Previous films in the series were originally shot in New Zealand, with additional photography taking place in Prague. It is reported that location shots in Australia are planned for the upcoming film, whose shooting, originally slated for October, will start in January 2009.
