It’s that time of the year when kids are heading back to school and college, the leaves are changing, and mother nature finally starts to give us some relief from the hot summer sun. As the weather cools down, however, the fall television season is just starting to heat up! Here are some of my picks for this year’s must-see fall TV shows.

Curb Your Enthusiasm – Larry David and crew are back for their sixth season of the show, and if the first episode is anything to judge this season by, it’s better than ever! If you missed the first episode, catch up on HBO On-Demand or beg a friend to tape it for you. Airs Sunday nights at 10pm EST on HBO.
Heroes – After a decidedly smash-hit first season, will Heroes suffer through a sophmore slump, or have they got some new tricks up their sleeves? With the addition of several new cast members with super-cool tricks, Heroes is sure to keep us amused for a while longer. Plus, a few questions still linger – Is Sylar really dead? Is Nathan dead? What happens next?! The suspense is killing us. The new season starts Sept. 24th at 9pm on NBC.
Gossip Girl – Yea, it sounds like a girly show, and it probably is at least somewhat. But guys, you’ll find something to love in this show too. It’s edgy and provocative, and critics are already dubbing this teen-oriented show “The OC of the upper-east side”. From underage clubbing in NYC to smoking weed in Central Park and living life in the fast-lane, Gossip Girl covers all the dirt. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to have an oh-so-attractive cast. Premieres Sept. 19th on the CW at 9pm EST.
Cane – The Sopranos + Dallas = Cane? That’s what the critics are saying about Cane, the show originally pitched as the Latino Godfather. The family biz in this show is rum, and like any mafioso-laced drama, they’ve also got their very own bitter rivals, lots of violence and, of course, sex. ¡Aye Carumba! Catch this smoking new drama Tuesday nights at 10pm EST, and make sure the kiddies are tucked away in bed.
