Broadway’s rendition of the film “Legally Blonde”, which put actress Reese Witherspoon on the map, is losing their current and original Elle Woods, played by Laura Bell Bundy. Her contract runs through the spring, but after that, they’ll be needing a new leading lady. Which is where MTV comes in. MTV’s reality show, which hasn’t been officially announced, will be casting contestants to compete for the role.
Casting begins in Los Angeles, New York, and Orlando in late January and early February. The Broadway adaptation opened in April and has so far grossed just over $30.8 million. But this isn’t the first time that MTV has worked with “Legally Blonde” – they broadcast the show in its entirety on October 13.

I think replacing her would be different. She played elle so good i dont know how they are gonna pull it off!
