The story Mr. Nobody seems tangible as a sharp science fiction yarn that could make an excellent movie. There is a flavor of Benjamin Button, where possibly several stories intermingle into one. The trailer doesn’t make it very clear as to how the story is told, but you can get a feel for the flashbacks and several different memories for Nemo

Nobody (Jared Leto) to remember as we find out he leads an ordinary existence at his wife’s side, Elise, and their three children until the day when reality skids and he wakes up as an old man in the year 2092. At 120, Mr. Nobody is both the oldest man in the world and the last mortal of a new mankind where nobody dies anymore.

Mr. Nobody is both written and directed by Belgian filmmaker Jaco van Dormael. The film was shot in both Germany and Canada throughout 2007, but is only now just being unveiled. A US distributor is yet to be found.  I am sure we will hear more about it and if it joins any film festivals this year.
