MoveOn Teams With Moore for ‘Sicko’ PremiereJune 15th, 2007 in Directors, Documentary, Movie News |

This summer’s most controversial movie is getting the backing of a heavyweight political organization. Moveon.org has teamed up with Michael Moore bringing the exposé on the health care coverage in America for premieres in New York City, LA, and Washington DC.
“SiCKO exposes how deeply our for-profit health care system is failing most Americans,” said MoveOn.org Political Action Campaign Director, Noah T. Winer. “Our members are working to make sure the next president passes affordable health care for all,” concluded Winer.
Members of the political organization will be distributing literature at the screenings so if politics isn’t your thing or you can’t stand Michael Moore these events are probably ones that you will want to avoid. Here are the dates at times of the events (after the break).
