If you have Windows Media, a teaser to Dario Argento’s newest film, Mother of Tears is now available. At this time, the only known release date is for Holloween in Italy, following the premiere at the Rome Film Festival. This highly anticipated horror film is the follow-up to Argento’s Suspiria and Inferno. For those who don’t have Windows Media, there are some stills from the film on this site.

The advance word is that Mother of Tears is a return to form for Argento. Judging from some of the imagery, even if this film gets a stateside release, Argento’s dedicated fans will also be waiting for an uncut DVD version as many have with his other films. Mother of Tears stars Argento’s daughter, Asia Argento, as well as Asia’s mom and Dario’s former partner, Daria Nicolodi.
