More Mexican Films in 2008

In response to the 2007 surge in the Mexican box office, Mexico’s film industry chamber has announced that they will be doing all they can to help boost the Mexican film industry. With attendance up 5.6% and total sales up 7.9% the Mexican film industry wants to help local producers combat the flood of incoming foreign films. The world will get a taste of local Mexican films with heist thriller “Sultanes del Sur” which will hit the big screen December 18th.
