It appears Kieran Culkins casting was only the beginning, as various sites are now reporting additional actors who are confirmed to have joined the cast of Edgar Wrights upcoming comic book adaptation Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
AICN reports that Chris Evans (Fantastic Four) is set for the role of pro-skateboarder turned movie star Lucas Lee, the second of the evil ex-boyfriends of Ramona V. Flowers. Next up is Empire, who adds that Ellen Wong has signed on to play Scotts 17-year-old Chinese schoolgirl stalker Knives Chau. The site also reports that Aubrey Plaza joined the cast, playing Julie Powers, the obnoxious girlfriend of Stephen Stills, the lead singer of Scotts band Sex Bob-omb. Finally, Slashfilm reports that Arshad Aslam has been set up for the role of Matthew Patel.
Filming will begin in Toronto this March.
