Australian filmmaker George Miller has finally confirmed that he is no longer involved in the Justice League live-action feature in any capacity. He told this when he appeared on Sydney-based morning talk show Sunrise this morning.

Miller indicated that if the project starts again, then it will most probably be recast as “the studios seem to want bigger stars in their superhero movies now.”

Through his appearance, Miller also admitted that Mel Gibson does not want to do the Mad Max script he wrote, but that he hasn’t given up on the possibility just yet.
