It was recently announced that MC Hammer himself will be getting his own shown called Hammertime, obviously. This is one of those shows, like Run’s House, that follows him and his family through everyday activities. Executive producer J.D. Roth relates it to an unscripted version of The Cosby Show sounds fun, huh?
“Here’s a dad with five kids, married to the same woman for more than 23 years, living in the same place where he grew up and going to church every Sunday,” Roth said. “He’s had his ups and downs, and it’s what makes him such a character you root for.”
The show will air on A&E and is expected to debut this year.
