Another trailer came my way — Max Payne– based on the video game of the same title. Mark Wahlberg stars in this movie. A very appropriate role for Wahlberg; he’s Max Payne. The action sequences are tour de force. Beau Bridges also stars, which is a real treat for the audience because he is a very strong, confident actor.
Enjoy the trailer!

Looks like the director was watching Sin City a lot when making this. But less stylish.

I had the same thought watching it too — just a hint here and there.

Erm, the style of Max Payne was established well before Sin City was made. (I.e. classic noir/pulp, which really isn’t terribly original…)

True and a heard that the pulp fiction genre is on a huge comeback.

I am not sure. That is an excellent question. You’d think Metuso since they are doing some music for the feature. Anybody know?

No that music isnt Metsuo, not sure who that is. Metsuo have music in the movie itself and have also provided the end credit “theme tune”

i’m not totally sure, but i think this existing trailer is for the States (and obviously internet) only. Its not shown on TV, but there will be a trailer for European TV though, which will appear this month i would expect (since the movie is coming out next month) And its quite likeley they’ll use Metsuo for that one…they do the end credits as well and thats usually the theme tune that is being used for those marketing purposes.. but lets wait and see… EXCITING!!!!

You could be right. I am not aware of music that much to even guess. Unless it’s a Broadway showtune.
