Martin May Leave ‘Law & Order’

As announced here at Screenhead Jesse L. Martin will portray Marvin Gaye in “Sexual Healing.”Â
It look like he’s turning in his badge at “Law & Order” with Anthony Anderson negotiating to cover the hole.
Martin’s been with the NBC drama since fall 1999. I always liked his character. He will be missed.
Martin once took a vacation from “Law & Order” to reprise his role in the 2005 film version of “Rent,” which the Broadway version he appeared in.
