Even before Valentine’s Day opens this weekend, director Garry Marshall is committed to direct the spin-off New Year’s Eve.
Marshall is making plans to shoot New Year’s Eve at the end of this year for release in late 2011. Some of the same characters will be in the story from Valentine’s Day. The movie will be set in New York City on New Year’s Eve.
Valentine’s Day tracking is looking pretty good. The Friday opening should prove fruitful. The cast includesJessica Alba, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway, Patrick Dempsey, Hector Elizondo, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Queen Latifah, Julia Roberts and Emma Roberts.
