Well folks, that’s number ten, and that means we’ve come to the end of the 2008 entrants in the Halloween Horror Nights short film competition.  We’ve seen some good stuff, we’ve seen a little bit of great stuff, and we’ve seen some truly godawful crap that never should’ve made it out of editing.  Today we conclude with the short “Made Incorrect”.

And once again, I’m baffled by what I’ve just seen.  A woman, desperate to have a child following an accident that destroyed her own uterus, goes to horrific length to have her miracle baby.

At least, I think that’s what’s going on here.  Coherent narrative is not these guys’ strong suits.  Half the time, I wasn’t even exactly sure what was going on.  What I SUSPECT was going on, though, was actually a lot scarier than I expected it would be.  Which is great but really only goes so far.

The Screenhead Ten Scale, meanwhile, gives this one a five out of ten for effort but at the same time acknowledging its overall lack of success.  Good try, though.
